Η ημερίδα διοργανώνεται από το Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης -Τμήμα Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Τροφίμων στοπλαίσιο του έργου «LOCFOOD – Τοπική ανάπτυξη και διασυνοριακή συνεργασία στον τομέα των γεωργικών προϊόντων και των παραδοσιακών τροφίμων»που χρηματοδοτείται απότο Κοινό Επιχειρησιακό πρόγραμμα για τη λεκάνη της Μαύρης Θάλασσας 2014-2020.

Η εκδήλωση αποτελείται από τρεις συνεδρίες:

  • Γενική παρουσίαση έργου/Βέλτιστες πρακτικές για την προώθηση τοπικών παραδοσιακών προϊόντων
  • Προκλήσεις και ευκαιρίες για τα τοπικά παραδοσιακά προϊόντα
  • Στρογγυλή τράπεζα/Συζήτηση
